This method takes slightly less time because a laser can cover a section of hair follicles as opposed to only killing a single one each time. However, there is a risk of mild scars or burns.

Neither method offers complete hair removal in a single treatment. Successive treatments may need to be done to kill any hair follicles that remain either because they were missed or were not in the appropriate growth stage to be successful.

While these treatments may appear to be costly, bear in mind, these methods are permanent. The expense is only a one time thing, and at the same time, temporary hair removal methods require a purchase each week, which can actually cost more than a permanent removal solution. Time should also be considered when you are weighing the costs.
